Effort 10 Run Cars in Indianapolis Fails
In Indianapolis the first street car move since the strike began last Friday was deserted as a strikebreaker was seriously injured and several strikebreakers and policemen were hurt by missiles from rooftops. A peace conference opened to end the strike after a fourth death, Thomas Carlton, a union chauffeur, died. Charles Fisher, a strikebreaker, was arrested on murder charges.
