Tyler Texas May 17 The defense for six Smith county citizens jailed on lynching charges remains undecided. Attorney N A Genarab said Judge Simpson plans to convene a grand jury for the summer term beginning June 21 and no new action is expected. The writ of habeas corpus will not be sought from the Court of Criminal Appeals.
Six men robbed westbound passenger train No 3 east of Morse Washington, rifling the registered mail after cutting from the postal car. None of the crew were harmed and passengers were not molested. Great Northern offers 10000 reward for each robber.
