Tyler Texas May 13 Judge Simpson resumed the trial of eleven citizens charged with lynching Jim Hodge. Witnesses including T J Rudd testified Lindley did not tie the rope around Hodge neck. Deputies and others offered defense testimony and several witnesses questioned Lindley identity. The hearing continues with more witnesses and is expected to close tonight.
