A Mexican dispatch reports Cuatro Cienegas in Coahuila retaken by Federals on May and rebels beaten after three engagements. Rebels suffered about 600 killed or wounded. A Zapata force of 1000 to 1206 men aiming at Cuernavaca, Morelos, was driven back with nearly fifty killed and wounded on May 7.

Mothers Day Program at College of Industrial Arts

On Saturday morning a program by the College of Industrial Arts students honored Mothers Day. All students wore white flowers. Hon Hatton W. Sumners spoke in support of his candidacy for Congressman at large. The program included Sweet and Low, prayer by Dr. Bizzell, a paper on The Significance of Mothers Pay by Miss Lillian Whither, thoughts of great men on Mother by students, a vocal solo by Miss Woldert, and a chorus from the Senior class.
