Guy Doty son of W H Doty of Santa Rosa WYO wed Katherine Horsly in Santa Rosa NM on a quiet Wednesday evening. The ceremony was attended by immediate families and the couple left for El Paso for a honeymoon before returning to Santa Rosa to reside. Doty works for a Santa Rosa wholesale grocer.

Andrew J. Baker, noted Texas politician and pioneer, died at his daughter’s Los Angeles home on June 2. The former state figure was prominent in early Texas politics and civic life. He was visiting California at the time of his death.
