Al Ebie of Magnolia testified that before May 20, 1912 Magnolia bought Standard Oil products in carload lots to get carload rates. He said his department had one code book, but he did not know if all Standard concerns used the same code book in orders.

W L Jones Dies After Stroke At Schmitz Store
W L Jones suffered an apoplectic stroke at about 10 AM while working at the Schmitz furniture store. He died at 2 PM Thursday after four hours of intense suffering as physicians treated him and his family was summoned. He remained at the store in precarious condition.
