Major Thomas Davis testified before Senate investigators that troops never blocked mail to miners and only kept order at rail stations. He fined many working miners for bringing whiskey into martial law zones. Gov Hatfield expanded martial law but refused to release trial records for civil indictments. Former Speaker Cannon praised Wilson as a sincere patriot. Fort Worth reports fifty T&P auditors to be dropped, saving ten thousand dollars monthly.
The Senate committee reported in favor of a constitutional amendment for women's suffrage. It argued voting by women would strengthen government and condemned male-only suffrage as odious and unjust while highlighting the wisdom women bring to public life. The House adjourned Friday, June 13, 1913.
In Harrisonville Missouri on June 13 authorities report the murder of Arthur Keller and his 7 year old daughter, with Mrs Keller confessing she killed them while temporarily irresponsible as they slept.
In Harrisonville on June 13 Mrs Ida May Keller who yesterday confessed to killing her husband and year old daughter repudiates the confession claiming the detective forced it. She says the detective scared it out of her and now denies the crime.

Bea ns Simmons an 18 year old black man accused of assault and murder was seized from the jail by about 1000 residents at 3 am in Anadarko Oklahoma and hanged from a tree. The victim Susie Church aged 16 was attacked as she rode home on horseback. A plainclothes man pursued the suspect but he denied the crime and begged for life as the mob jeered.
Funeral services for L S Forester a prominent Denton ranchman who died Wednesday were held at his ranch home. Rev O Cooper led a prayer and scripture reading and a life sketch was given. The service ended with a sermon on the ministry of sorrow and interment at Bolivar cemetery. Flowers and attendees came from Denton Bolivar Krum Sanger and nearby areas with many named friends present.
George J. Roark sustained a slight leg ash cut after a booster trip to Dallas Thursday. The car rolled into a ditch near Coppell when the left front wheel failed on a corner, but the top kept occupants from being trapped. J A Barton drove, with Emory Barton and others uninjured. party members reached Dallas in other vehicles.
Associated Press dispatch from Eagle Pass reports Rev Cassillo Begico says he has taken the field against Huerta with about 1000 men. The advisory note places Begico's forces in operation at Campie sites.
