Funeral Held For Mrs. R C Bass In Roswell Visit
Mrs. R C Bass died Tuesday in Roswell New Mexico. Funeral services were conducted Friday morning at the West Oak street home of her daughter with Rev M Hudson in charge. The cortege proceeded to the O O F cemetery with pallbearers Robert Barns James Barns B F Paschall Jr S P Allison R A Sledge and B W Blewett. Out of town relatives attended including J D Bass and family Richard Bass McKinney S J Matthews Plano Joe Rhea Roswell and H Blake Seay Dallas. Roberta Bass traveled from Roswell to be with the family.

Local tax renditions set for July as equalization board adjourns
The equalization board adjourned Thursday and notifies about 300 city taxpayers to appear July 22 to show cause why their renditions should not rise.
