The message declares a firm resolve for the year 1913 to improve ad quality, store service, and small details that enhance customer satisfaction. It notes invoicing improvements and readiness to serve beyond the holiday rush with unusually complete stock for the season.
The document names officers and directors including A. J. Nance as President J. R. Christal as Vice President C. Coit as Cashier E. D. Curtis as Assistant Cashier H. Paine F. Bates Dr. J. M. Inge and A. C. Owsley as directors.

Cipriana Castro was removed from a New York hotel aboard a tug to Ellis Island immigration station where U S authorities will pursue a legal basis for deportation. He is reported to be suffering from an infectious disease that might justify expulsion.
Governor Colquitt refused to issue a proclamation making the home rule amendment effective tomorrow. He said it may not have been legally adopted since it was not submitted at the statewide prohibition election and will consult Attorney General Looney before acting. He issued proclamations for other constitutional amendments.
T W Overstreet, about sixty, of McKamy's switch area, was adjudged insane in county court on Tuesday and ordered held pending removal to the asylum.
Emory B. Peter, Texas pioneer and long time Denton county citizen, died at his West Oak Street home at 8 36 p m Monday after several days of pneumonia. Born in Mackville Kentucky he joined Texas cattle trails with John Chisum and drove cattle into Kansas Oklahoma New Mexico and Arizona. He served in the Confederate army and later married Mollie Allen. Peter moved to Texas in 1858 and Denton county in 1860 living there nearly continuously. He survived seven brothers.
