Jury Discharged After Morris Case Deliberations
Fort Worth Texas December 20 The jury weighing the murder charge against Otto Meyer for the March death failed to reach a verdict after nearly forty eight hours of deliberation. The final ballot showed 11 to 1 for conviction with disagreement on the penalty. Judge Buck kept them at work and discharged them at 2 o clock with no verdict possible.
