The Money Back Hosiery Co Royersford Pa advertises factory direct hosiery with a guarantee to outwear others at same price and seeks agents to take orders from samples direct to wearer for profit.
Austin reports the first ginners' tally of the season with 1136 bales ginned in July across 31 operating gins. Last July 3036 bales were processed, reflecting a much smaller start this year.
An old advertisement claims deafness from inflamed Eustachian tubes can be cured only by constitutional remedies. It asserts most cases stem from catarrh and offers $100 for any deafness due to catarrh not cured by Hall's Catarrh Cure. Also promotes Hall's Family Pills for constipation.
In Denton the market shows little activity with receipts light and prices steady. Hay leads a strong upward tilt with Dallas and Fort Worth reporting a $1 per ton rise. Wheat straw remains in demand at $5 to $5.50 per ton locally. Fort Worth Livestock totals include 1,600 cattle, 1,500 hogs with steers down to 4.296, cows at 2.20, calves 4.50, and hogs 17.60.
A dense list of farm commodity prices including corn at 75 to 80 cents per bushel retail 10 to 15 cents higher, various feeds like corn chops and chicken feed, hay priced wholesale and retail, wheat No. 2 at 1.15 to 1.29 per bushel, flour wholesale 3.00 to 3.25 per 100 pounds, corn meal, lard, bacon, onions, eggs, butter and butter fat, poultry prices for turkeys hens fryers and ducks, livestock prices for hogs and cows, and hides in green or dry forms with per pound ranges.

A scrambled roundup reports a child confession in Brownwood, Limestone county pro votes near 639, deaths from a streetcar crash in El Paso, a tariff session cost of 1 060 000, drownings near Toledo, and various fires crimes and political moves affecting Texas Oklahoma and nearby states with scattered incidents and investigations.
