Governor Colquitt and Judge Ramsey have filed expense accounts for campaign expenditures. Colquitt's manager reports 14115 spent while Ramsey's statement lists 20485.

Leonard Potts a Dallas based Negro who killed Policeman Ledford in Dallas and Sheriff Stevens of Red River county while eluding arrest was killed eighteen miles northwest of Clarksville by a posse. Potts opened fire but was killed in a ravine after authorities tracked his trail. Local Negroes and wife Shoviff Brandeis of Dallas County positively identified the body.
The Cook child who swallowed a head of rye six weeks ago and was operated on died. The head was found in the child’s back during surgery as the cause.
Herman Ridder, treasurer of the late Democratic National Executive Committee, paid Chairman W. F. McCombs $28,875 for the Democratic campaign fund. The amount comes from the $115,000 subscribed by Baltimore to land the National Democratic convention. Nominee Wilson has not named a National treasurer but Charles R. Crane of Chicago is mentioned.
