Hoquiam Washington April 12 Women strike sympathizers cut 500 switches to strike back with on the backs of men who return to work in the sawmills Monday. Women go to mills with rag dolls to shield babies and say they would be endangered if mills reopened.
New Orleans Louisiana shows showers and thunderstorms tonight and Saturday with a drop in temperatures. Cooler conditions expected afterward.
The Farmers contest offers $10 600 in prizes with forty five entrants from Denton County representing 204 counts. Foard County follows with six contestants the largest single county total.
Norris defense opens the trial with testimony aimed at showing a long standing church project and possible conspiracy against him. Prosecution rested unexpectedly after ten witnesses, with further rebuttal expected including Mrs Taylor and her dramatic account of anonymous letters and Norris urges.
