Seventh witness backs flight from Raleigh robbery case
Ernest Rogers testified he saw a man and woman enter Pete Oliver's taxi with the man not Powell Miller. Prosecutor McGinnis argued Miller could have driven to Raleigh after church, robbed Oliver, and been back by 9:45. Oliver's ID was held as sufficient by Squire Lemon. Ross claimed Miller could not have committed the robbery. Miller testified to corroborate prior defense witnesses.
