Salvation Army to Launch War on Poverty Sale
Salvation Army led by Capt Rosa Hines plans a full swing poverty sale at the Neckley branch to raise funds for furniture and clothing distribution. The program aims to restore dignity by helping low income families buy items rather than receiving charity, while discussing budgeting with those who have no money. It seeks community participation by soliciting attic and garage items for sale and may place notices in monthly company statements.
