Burial is in Odd Fellow Cemetery. He died Sunday night after a yearlong illness in a Beckley hospital. A retired New River Company employee born September 8 1898 he was a native of Smith County Virginia. The body is at Tyree Funeral Home Oak Hill and will be taken to the church one hour prior to the funeral. Friends may call 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
