Following a regular Mount Hope Stars Club meeting the clubhouse hosted a Halloween dance for 60 couples. The event featured the 4 piece Commander’s orchestra from Concord College with four Mount Hope boys in the band and guests in costume. attendance contest runs October 1 to November 20 with a Thanksgiving turkey prize. A former member now residing in Lawrence, Kansas attended.
