Area Men to Attend Bluefield Meeting

Smoke Forces Flight Cancellations At Raleigh County Airport
Heavy forest fire smoke closed Raleigh County Memorial Airport on Friday, delaying morning flights. By noon, operations resumed as smoke cleared. Charleston and Roanoke airports had similar closures earlier, with some Cincinnati and Charleston flights landing around noon. Passengers to Charleston and Cincinnati continued their trips by limousine from Beckley after arrival.
