Churchill Sees Progress With Russia on Balkans Poland Unresolved

He predicted further talks with Roosevelt and Stalin before year’s end and stressed unity among the three Allies. He noted the absence of Russia at Quebec and the lack of the President during Moscow talks, but praised the American observer Harriman’s presence. He described the conference as highly satisfactory and warned against preemptive policy debates in Parliament.
