TV In Review By Rick Du Brow Sees Youth Shaping Prime Time
Hollywood critic notes youth buying power drives schedules and Nielsen shifts. With 10 p.m. starts common, many shows appealing to families with children dominate prime time. He cites Slattery's People Hitchcock Hour and other late slots as evidence of a child oriented lineup. He also notes few sitcoms in final prime hour and calls for more balanced scheduling. The piece also lists upcoming network programs and topics on ABC NBC and CBS.
