ST. LOUIS AP The International Convention of Christian Churches acts on a peace plan for world harmony. The 8500 delegates discuss birth control education in crowded regions and admitting Communist China to the UN. The 201 member committee resisted watering down the resolution and sent it to the General Assembly as a position statement. Catlett Funeral Set Wednesday
Funeral services for P. J. Catlett will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the First Christian Church. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Catlett, 65, Beckley, died Monday evening after a short illness. He had a long career in retail and mining company stores, retiring in 1956. Survivors include his wife Inez, two daughters, a son, two brothers, a sister, and one grandchild. The body will be taken to the church an hour before the service. Pallbearers are named.

He owned Carlson's Men's Store on Main Street for over ten years. Survived by son Maxie M David Jr of Fort Lauderdale Florida a brother George David of Pennington Gap and three sisters Miss Rose David of Pennington Gap Mrs Ernest Hall of Derby Virginia and Mrs Jim Lucas of Oklahoma City Oklahoma. The body was taken from Keyser Bryant Funeral Home to the residence at 2 p.m. today and to the church one hour prior to the funeral. Pallbearers listed.
