Doctor should guide blood pressure treatment choices
A doctor should decide on blood pressure medications and aspirin use. Acute high readings may normalize without drugs. garlic or parsley have no proven effect. In cases of very high pressure or prior kidney removal, the doctor may consider nerve-sparing procedures if drugs fail. Brain wave abnormalities can occur without seizures and may not require treatment if attacks are absent. Ergotamine can shorten migraines but has limits. methysergide helps prevention and both require caution in pregnancy and with vascular disease.
