Mount Hope Lions Plan Halloween Dance October 30

Mount Hope Lions Club outlined plans for a Halloween dance on Thursday October 30 to avoid a conflict with the Beetley Mount Hope game the next day. Girl Fined and Jailed for Dress Theft

Hazel Robinson aged 19 of Mabacolt was fined $10 and costs and sentenced to 30 days in the county jail on a petit larceny charge by Magistrate G C Mills. Police said she stole a dress from the W T Grant store on Main Street.
