Man Risks Arm to Save Boy from Grizzly at Pennsylvania Park
MEADVILLE Pa UPI a 200 pound grizzly bear mauled a 12 year old boy and an animal trainer who entered the cage to save him was left in fair condition with numerous gashes. The trainer Hohl and Mrs Kemp's nephew Robert Mahoney 12 were injured as the bear dragged them before the trainer's 15 year old son killed the animal with a shotgun after returning to the scene. The victims were from Rocks Pa and Coraopolis Pa. Both injured were taken to Spencer Hospital for surgery and emergency care.
