Mount Mayon The World’s Most Beautiful Volcano
The Mount Mayon volcano in Albay Philippines is praised for its near perfect cone and scenic base landscape. At 7943 feet tall it rises from a flat plain and is visible from over 60 miles, with a 120 mile road around its base. Mayon has a history of eruptions including a deadly 1814 eruption that killed 1200 people and a 1900 lava flow reaching eight miles to the sea. it has been quiet since.
