Funeral services for James Levi Cook 79 will be held Tuesday at the Primitive Baptist Church in Lester at 2 p m. He died in his home at East Kingston after a lengthy illness. Burial will be in Kennedy Cemetery at Glen View. He is survived by five children and five grandchildren. A businessman, he formerly resided in Lester Raleigh County. He was born in Nebraska on August 23 1869 and was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. Cook’s body will be taken to his granddaughter Mrs Coy Moore’s home at Lester today.
