Separated Stubblefield Twins Live After Surgery
The newly separated Stubblefield Siamese twins, Jeanett Kim and Dennett Linn, remained alive in Portland Ore after a five hour operation at the University of Oregon Medical School Hospital. Surgeons found a common breastplate and a liver bridge which were severed and tied off. The operation was successful though the next 24 to 48 hours remained crucial. The twins weighed about 8 1/2 pounds each after separation and were born June 29 in Nyssa Ore joined at the abdomen. Their parents are James and ? Stubblefield of Parma Idaho with three other children.
