Juniors Hear Beckley Therapist on Neglected Group

Richard A. Lepkowski, president of the Raleigh County Society for Crippled Children and Adults, told the Junior Department of Beckley Woman's Club members that the neglected must be included in community activities. The society runs a free summer speech and hearing clinic costing about 2000 dollars, aiding many patients with hearing, speech, physicals, and evaluations. SEP KOWSKI, chief corrective therapist at Beckley VA Hospital, led an imaginary trip showing wheel chair recreation and a World’s Fair pavilion with wheel chairs for patients. The Juniors will manage the Salvation Army booth on Dec 9 and prepared a food basket for a needy family. They are urged to attend tonight’s all-department meeting at Park Avenue clubhouse to hear Betty Bruce of Baltimore. The annual Men's Night program is set for 8 o'clock.
