Bird Gives Sermon For High School Commencement

Dr F E Bird pastor of Heber Street Methodist Church will deliver the seniors sermon at Woodrow Wilson High School auditorium tonight at 8 oclock. The class picnic is set for Lake Shawnee in Mercer County and Friday evening the Rev E Gibson Davis of Asheville NC will give the commencement address. The high school orchestra will play the processional and assist in other commencement week activities with Invocations readings prayers and benediction by listed pastors and ushers including Evelyn Rogers Louise Webb and others.
