In Niles Ohio a 47 year old man kept his dead mother’s body hidden in a two story frame house for weeks due to lack of money for a burial. Deputies found the body after neighbors reported the mother, Mrs Frank Peterson, had been missing for several weeks. Floyd Peterson, a janitor, said he did not want her death known until funds allowed a burial. The coroner ordered an autopsy and the body was sent to Cuyahoga County.

Lineman Survives Close Call With 4000-Volt Wire
Mullens lineman Lowell Lester was shocked by a 4000-volt line at Soak Creek while changing transformers. He hung from a safety belt unconscious for a time before conscious and aiding his own rescue.
