Charles William Gunter 73 of Mabscott died at his home Wednesday at 1 25 am after a three year illness due to a heart condition. Born January 30 1880 in Lester he was married to Rhoda Margaret Toney since 1902 and a long time Beckley Water Co. employee. Survived by wife six daughters three sons 28 grandchildren six great grandchildren three half sisters one half brother and other relatives. Funeral at Calvary Baptist Church Mabscott Friday at 2 30 pm with burial in Mt Tabor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Beckley Water Co. officials and employees.

A A Munsell a former Beckley resident died in Birmingham Alabama today at 6 am after an illness of several months. He was the father of Mrs Kyle Kinzer of 105 Hargrove Street. Munsell lived in Beckley about four years moving to Alabama. Mrs Kinzer was with him in Birmingham and her husband plans to join her. Funeral services are tentatively planned for Thursday.

Body will be taken to the residence of daughter Mrs Matthews at 5 p.m. Thursday.

In Clay County West Virginia 48 men charged with the ambush slaying of 29 year old Charles Frame at nearby Widen will receive a joint preliminary hearing.
