No Inquest Set For death by own action of Thurman C. Bell
Sheriff Elmore said no inquest would be held in the death of Thurman Clyde Bell who died after shooting himself in the forehead in the front yard of his home. The incident occurred in Princeton near Lilly Grove Addition. Bell used a six millimeter Bel gian automatic belonging to Mrs Severt. Witnesses saw him fall from a wooden bench seconds after the shot. Mrs Ella Bell, widow, works at the Silver Grill in Keystone. Bell had been down in spirits, and he was discharged from the Army in 1945 and drew disability pay and a miner's pension. Mrs Severt said Bell told her if anything happened yesterday it would not be caused by drinking.
