Better Health Outlook For Men And Women

Better health trends may narrow the life expectancy gap between men and women as degenerative diseases are controlled, leading to longer lifespans for men. Women live longer now due to lower death rates from tuberculosis and pregnancy, while obesity and riskier job hazards partly explain the gap. Over time, sharper health gains could increase widow numbers and raise chances of couples living longer together.
