22 Adult Leaders Earn Six Week Courses in Boy Scout Work
Oak Hill mothers of Pack 125 completed Monday night basic training for cubbing and scouting. Twenty two adult leaders received certificates after six weeks of two hour sessions led by instructors including Mrs. Gladys Jakier, Mrs. Edith Huffman, and others. Scouters basic training honored James Neely, Richard Ashley, and several troop leaders from Kingston, Glen Jean, Scarbro, and surrounding areas. Additional courses for scoutmaster and den mothers are planned for the near future.

OAK HILL An Ingram Branch man is held in Fayette County jail after a grand jury hit him with three felony charges. L H Palmer, 29, is accused of stealing 4350 pounds of iron from Mary Francis Coal Co and copper and brass totaling 665 pounds and 900 pounds in separate incidents on March 14 21 and 22. Arraigned before Magistrate Montgomery Hancock he was held on $1000 bond on each count. He was arrested by deputy sheriffs.
