State and county officers halted a 100 gallon moonshine plant near Mt View catching two tenders running liquor. J J Doer of the West Virginia Liquor Control Commission described the still as the largest in years. Seized were 15 gallons of liquor 500 pounds of cracked corn 18 billets of syrup and corn mash 28 cases of dark molasses and 50 empty molasses cases. The operators fled as officers closed in and much of the equipment was destroyed on the scene.
