From Princeton to Reynolds Tobacco Fate in One Tale
Buc Dust Yesterday Lindsay Harrison Swaim of Princeton West Virginia recalls a life in shirts and a near rise with R J Reynolds Tobacco. He once worked as a messenger and errand boy for R J Reynolds, then left for a better offer with Norfolk and Western. The story reflects on luck, right place right time, and the quirky knock of ignorance about Jeeps. Also notes radio flood updates from H G Taylor and local tidbits about Constance Flanigan and the Phipps family in Princeton.
