Mrs. Elsie Margaret McCullough 58 of 204 Riley Street Beckley died at 11 p.m. Monday at home after a brief illness. Funeral at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Methodist Church with Rev. W. B. Peck officiating. Burial in Pittsburgh following services there Friday. Surviving: three sons Howard of Skelton R. X. McCullough Mabscott and Winfield of Rocky Mountain N. C. daughter Dorothy at home and brother Edward J. Long of Pittsburgh. She was past Beckley president since 1934 and member of the Navy Mothers Club. Her husband predeceased her in 1930. Funeral home: Caffee Fumera Home Chapel.

Hit Run Driver Fined 1050, Is Sentenced
Mullens Buford Aaron Worms of East Gulf pleaded guilty to drunken driving and admitted owning and driving the car but denied hit and run charges.
