LAREDO TEX (UPI) The attorney for a former Harvard professor sentenced to 30 years in prison on marijuana charges said he would appeal on grounds of religious freedom. Dr Timothy Leary and his 18 year old daughter Susan were convicted and ordered to undergo psychiatric tests before final sentencing by Judge Ben C Connally. Leary, 45, faces a $30000 fine. Susan was sent to a federal reformatory for an indeterminate period.
