Fayette County highways are reported by the State Road Commission to be covered with two to three inches of snow and ice. Crews went on duty at 3 o clock last night with no road blocks reported.

Governor's Banquet Star To Arrive Tomorrow for guest

Miss Frances Langford will arrive in Charleston as guest of Governor Okey L. Patteson and wife at the Governor's Mansion. She will join them at Mount Hope Saturday morning for a polio benefit dinner. A rehearsal with Diver Garter's Orchestra is planned for Saturday morning. Tickets start at 25 dollars for the dinner at Macdonald Masonic Hall and a dance at Mount Hope Lions Clubhouse. William G. Thompson of Montgomery will be toast master. Proceeds go to Fayette County Chapter of the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis.

Legion Post to Vote on Youth Recreation Sponsorship

Fayetteville March 20 set for LaFayette American Legion Post vote on sponsoring a youth recreation program and a Fayetteville junior baseball team this year.
