Four Generations Gather for Tyree Birthday at Maple Fork
Four generations of the Tyree family gathered at Maple Fork on Sunday to celebrate the 60th birthday of Mrs. Emerson Williams known as Aunt Allie. More than 50 relatives attended the dinner on the front lawn at the home of Airs Hiroda Tyree, with honors shared by a great aunt, Mrs. Rhoda Davis of Pax. The Tyree lineage traces back to early settlers around Pax and Paint Creek, with the family calling the Pax area home. Joe Tyree of Oak Hill marked his 70th birthday recently and hoped to join, though he could not attend.
