Kingwood W Va June 18 Judge A G Hughes of the Eighteenth circuit said he would run for the Republican nomination for judge of the state supreme court at the Wheeling convention August 11. He plans a formal announcement late next week and is the second candidate after Judge Frank Lively of Charleston. Hughes serves his second term in the eighteenth circuit comprising Preston county, term expires 1936. first elected 1920 and reelected unopposed in 1928 as Democrats declined to nominate an opponent.
