Second Arrest For Bad Checks

Burning Paint Ignites House Fire At Residence
A fire at the residence owned by Dillard Williamson on Reservoir Road around 9 30 this morning caused little damage. Workmen repairing the house had spilled paint and oil near the back porch and children playing there started the blaze. Neighbors and a late arriving fire crew helped contain it. the fire was extinguished before firefighters arrived. Paint blistered on the back porch was the only damage cited by Fire Chief J E Aliff.
