Senate Interthsile commerce committee pressed for completion of hearings on the proposed price fixing substitute for the Gulfey coal contract. Wheeler said he would hold an executive session Monday to vote while Neely warned that without today’s conclusion no action would occur this session. Stanley B. Houck of Minneapolis testified opposing the bill and asked lignite be exempted from the provision.
