Gas Prospect Near Maben Under Construction in Wyoming County
Preliminary work is under way on a gas project financed by J L Bumgardner and J H Mead of Beckley near Maben in Wyoming County. Drilling starts Monday with an expected 3500 foot depth and about 100 days of drilling. If 450000 feet of gas daily is achieved lines to Beckley would supply domestic and industrial needs.
