Two Cars Crash Injures Thirteen in Mercer Pa
Two automobiles from Powellton West Virginia and West Newton Pennsylvania collided head on near Mercer on July 30 injuring 13 people two seriously. Highway Patrolman E L Jackson identified a Powellton passenger as the Reverend Homer T Heironinus about 60 and his wife about 55 both taken unconscious to Mercer hospital. Coeur D Alene Idaho July 30 The strange disappearance of two year old Bobby Rush perplexed sheriff s officers last night while the distraught parents sought word of his whereabouts from a spiritual medium. Officers discounted a kidnaping theory as the child s parents Mr and Mrs A W Rush of Athol Ida have been on relief for two years and could not pay ransom. The parents also said they knew of no reason for a revenge abduction. The medium s prediction that the parents would get two import ant letters was borne out partly with receipt of a postcard enclosed in an envelope saying Your baby is O K Don t worry. The spiritualist also said the boy would be found next week at San Diego Calif and that he had been taken away in a blue sedan. A farmer and other persons reported a blue sedan was seen in the area where the child disappeared July 21 in the thickly wooded upper Sage creek county while the parents were picking huckleberries. Had wild animals killed the boy officers pointed out there would have been clothing to indicate his fate. We haven t any better idea of what happened to the youngster today than we had a week ago said Deputy Sheriff A W Haner. He declined to comment on an assertion that an inquiry would be made of the family life of the boy for some suggestion that might lead to an explanation of the disappearance.

Charles Henley In Critical Condition After Truck Wreck
Charles Henley 22 of Fayetteville remained in critical condition at Oak Hill hospital after a truck crash on U S routes 19 21 Sunday night. He was unconscious most of the time and doctors gave no hope for recovery. Fellow passenger Lester Parish, also 22, had only minor injuries. Woman Admits Murder Of Lang
Evelyn Smith confessed to strangling Ervin Lang and dismembering his body. She and her Chinese husband Harry Jung took the body in a trunk by car to a swamp near Hammond Indiana. Missing Bush Girl Found Near Sweeneyburg
June Rose Bush age 11, daughter of Mr and Mrs Frank Bush Mullens, vanished from a Mount Hope theater Sunday night. State police said she was found near Sweeneyburg yesterday after wandering while separated from her mother.
