The Raleigh Register issue dated Thursday July 28 1921 presents the editor and manager names Chas Hodel and Ralph G Hess as associate editor with subscription rates listed as one year six months and three months payable strictly in advance. The text emphasizes no shorter three month subscriptions are accepted.
At a Chamber of Commerce session the fire protection issue for Beckley was discussed with a committee to assess equipment and its condition. The group favors forming a joint business committee to seek a remedy, possibly bonds, to fund proper gear and two full time firefighters supported by volunteers, despite limited annual funds.
Sunday School class No 4 took the banner for the most perfect attendance. Preaching service was held Sunday by Rev H M Boyd. Mrs Henrietta Deal, recently at Beckley hospital, is home and improving slowly. Mr and Mrs O W Martin visit Mr and Mrs Shubrick in Elmore. Services were held Mon Tue and Wed nights by Lewis Sanders of Mt Hope. Mr and Mrs Chas MecQuain visit Mrs McQuain's father in Greenbrier county.
Kenna Martin visits Princewick for a few days. W E Moore and son Erskine fished on the Guyan river Saturday. Sunday School starts a Teachers Training class with enrollment at ten and more expected. Max Collison and Clarence Martin left Sunday for home in Robert Fleshman visits Sewell Valley. Wilber Martin spent Sunday in Princewick. Wizard products promote home help with wife savers and life savers three hundred sixty five days a year.
State factory inspector Jack Smith of Huntington praised the Beckley Wizard Bakery for its cleanliness during rounds of city workshops. The compliment pleased management and workers and was seen as a spur to maintain high quality and hygiene through continual vigilance.

P. L. Blankenship sheriff of Raleigh County swears the delinquent personal tax list is correct and that no part of the taxes has been received for the listed properties. He states due diligence was used to locate taxable property in the county but none was found. Notary Aubrey O. Smith witnessed the oath on July 19, 1921.
