In Huntington, Martha Button, about 50, was killed when a fire broke out in an apartment building at 4th Avenue and 12th Street near the business district. Trudy Robinson was hospitalized after reportedly suffering a heart attack from the blaze excitement. Firefighters arrived around 5:30 a.m. evacuated the building, confining the blaze to a small area. Heavy smoke suggested wider danger, but the smoke came from burning upholstery.
