Fire injures eight at U S A I D office in Saigon
A fire on the fourth floor of a UPI reported U S A I D building in Saigon injured eight and trapped several workers on the roof. The blaze was blamed on an air conditioner short circuit and crews battled the flames rapidly.

Wyoming Court Cases Heard Involving Manslaughter Sentences
Marie Hayden was convicted in Wyoming Circuit Court of involuntary manslaughter and placed on probation for one year with a one year suspended sentence and a $200 fine plus costs. Paul Burleson received six months in jail for aiding and abetting Hayden, suspended and placed on probation for six months. Civil actions and judgments include dismissals and small loan act interests, with multiple monetary awards and a divorce granted for Deborah Wyatt Lujan. A special term of court and grand jury are scheduled for late August, with a petit jury to be summoned in September.

Two Juveniles Charged In Fayetteville Alcohol Case
Two local juveniles were released to their parents and will appear before Judge Charles L. Garvin Jr. after being charged with possessing alcohol. The alcohol was bought and given to the youths by an unstable person, according to Police Chief T. M. Hunsaker.
