Dr Bernard Ernest Silverman 87 Beckley chiropodist died at 12 45 a m at his Raleigh Heights home after feeling ill Sunday afternoon He was born July 4 1902 in Chicago and practiced in Chicago before moving to Beckley in 1939 He belonged to Phi Beta Pi Temple Beth El Bnai Brith Moose Chess Club and other organizations Final rites set for Wednesday at Keyser Bryant Funeral Home with graveside at Monte Vista Cemetery He is survived by wife two children a brother and a sister and two grandchildren Donations to Raleigh County Heart Fund requested.
