Contributions totaling 71 dollars were donated to the Raleigh County Unit of the American Cancer Society from the New Era Singing Convention held at First Waplist Church in North Beckley. Local representatives Mrs Heles Gagalis and Bob Daniels presented the funds. Additional donations from the Stanaford area totaled 15.85 dollars.
